Workshop participants should make their reservations by contacting the selected hotel directly. A number of rooms have been reserved at special workshop rates in some good quality hotels located close to the workshop venue. Most hotels are within walking distance and, furthermore, Trento is a small town and therefore you will not need a car to move around (in fact, the historic center is reserved for pedestrians). The availability of rooms is guaranteed up to Jan 10, 1998 . Participants are therefore encouraged to make reservations in time. Mention "ALEX98" when booking in order to get the reduced workshop rates. The fastest reservation procedure consists of sending the hotel a fax with a reservation request, asking for a confirmation fax back. Prices are in Italian lire (LIT), per room and per night. At this time, 1.00 US $ is approximately 1,800 LIT. The listed prices include tax and breakfast.
